FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions About Our Consulting Services | Struss & Claussen

Question 1

Why seek personal consultation when AI can provide so many answers today?

Accepted Answer

AI can make knowledge accessible, structure thoughts and support reflection. But it will never provide a definitive answer or recommendation, nor can it replace a sound personal assessment. People reveal themselves through contradictions, nuances, biographical context, energetic information and the way they speak about something. The information that makes the difference lies in the resonance created through personal interaction. Our work therefore combines technological possibilities with what makes human connection especially valuable: resonance, experience, psychological judgment, emotional intelligence, social competence and intuition.

Question 2

How scientifically grounded is the personality assessment?

Accepted Answer

Personality diagnostics are a central part of our work. We use scientifically grounded personnel psychology and aptitude-assessment methods and never consider results in isolation. Only when combined with a personal conversation, biography and the individual question do they create the nuanced picture on which our recommendations are based.

Question 3

Which service is right for my situation?

Accepted Answer

That depends primarily on which question is currently most important. Inner Voice, Inner Choice focuses on personality development and realizing your potential across all areas of life. Job Crafting is suitable when your current job is fundamentally right for you—or when resigning is at least not an option for now—but you want to improve the fit and feel happy again. The one-to-one consultation is suitable for specific career decisions and more complex situations that require an individualized assessment. Our service test provides initial guidance.

Question 4

Does the consultation take place in person or online?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the service, collaboration may take place in person, digitally or through a combination of both. Our one-to-one consultations can also take place online, while the online coaching courses are designed for digital participation. The relevant service page explains which format is possible and appropriate in each case.

Question 5

How does Struss & Claussen differ from traditional coaching or career counseling?

Accepted Answer

We rely neither exclusively on a conversation nor on individual tests. Our work combines sound personality diagnostics with psychological interviewing, biographical context, potential analysis and your current life situation. This creates a nuanced overall picture from which specific recommendations can be derived. The aim is not merely to find an answer to the current question, but to truly understand the person behind it and show them a path toward realizing their potential.

Question 6

How does the initial contact work, and how much does a consultation cost?

Accepted Answer

The first step is a no-obligation inquiry. This allows us to clarify the issue and determine which service suits the situation. The scope, process and costs differ depending on the consultation or course format. For consultation, this can be determined very quickly here. For individual consultation inquiries or company concerns, we provide transparent information about the next steps and the associated costs.

Question 7

Does Struss & Claussen also advise companies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We support companies in developing employees, specialists and leaders, applying our psychological and diagnostic expertise to a variety of development questions. This includes scalable programs such as potential diagnostics within recruitment and Job Crafting, as well as individual consultation and other formats for companies—wherever the focus is genuinely on people.

Question 8

What exactly does Struss & Claussen do?

Accepted Answer

Struss & Claussen is a psychologically grounded career and development consultancy. We combine personality diagnostics with intensive personal consultation and specific recommendations for professional and personal decisions. The focus is not on what someone could theoretically do, but on what suits their personality, potential and individual life situation.

Question 9

Who will advise me, and how do I find the right person?

Accepted Answer

Struss & Claussen has an interdisciplinary team with backgrounds in psychology and consulting. The best-suited consultant depends on your concern and the format you choose. When matching you, we consider not only professional expertise but also who will provide the right support for the particular question and person.

Question 10

What concerns can Struss & Claussen help me with?

Accepted Answer

This may involve choosing a degree or career, changing professional direction, taking the next career step, dealing with a leadership issue or feeling that you are not realizing your potential in your current job. We also help people who are objectively successful but wonder what comes next or how they can make better use of their existing potential.
