Questions from your first years in the workforce
Answers to questions about shaping your future career development.
Is it normal to develop doubts during the first few years of working?
Yes. The first few years of work change how you view your career. It is only in day-to-day working life that it becomes clear which adjustments are needed to make the best possible use of your potential. It is completely normal to revise your career plans at that point. This phase of life is very often characterized by important career decisions.
I am actually satisfied. Is the consultation still worthwhile?
Yes. Many young professionals come to us for consultation without being in a crisis. They want to develop their potential more purposefully, take on more responsibility or shape their career development strategically. The intensive consultation helps them use their strengths deliberately and avoid leaving their next steps to chance.
I want to progress professionally. Can the consultation help?
Yes. Career does not mean the same thing to everyone. Some people want to move into leadership, while others want to build specialist expertise or gain more creative freedom. Together, we develop a career strategy that fits your personality, strengths, values and long-term goals.
How can I tell whether I simply need more time or whether I am in the wrong professional environment?
This question is rarely easy to answer alone. Some roles require time to settle into. Sometimes, however, it becomes clear that the role, working environment or corporate culture does not suit your personality in the long term. In the intensive consultation, we consider these factors separately and develop sound recommendations from them.
Should I change employers or first try to change my current situation?
Not every case of professional dissatisfaction immediately requires resigning or changing jobs. It is well worth first understanding what is causing it. Depending on the situation, this may point toward changing employers, taking on a different role or finding suitable ways to adapt your current job more closely to your personality through structured job crafting.
Which service is right for me?
That depends on where you currently are.
The intensive consultation is suitable for fundamental questions about your career, professional identity and long-term development when you want the expertise of an advisor who will make recommendations tailored specifically to you.
The online Job Crafting course teaches you how to adapt your current job more closely to your personality.
Inner Voice, Inner Choice helps you get to know yourself better, strengthen your self-worth and make conscious decisions about your career and life.
If you are unsure which service best suits your situation, our test can provide some initial guidance.
How specific are the recommendations?
The results are summarized in a personalized dossier. It contains specific recommendations on suitable roles, areas of work, industries, employers, corporate cultures and development prospects. Depending on the situation, this may include an internal move, specialization, further training, a change of employer or an initial leadership role. The dossier is supplemented by a personal development and action plan with specific next steps.
Do you also consider salary, career opportunities and the impact of AI?
Yes. Personal fit and professional reality are considered together. This includes market opportunities, development prospects, compensation, the future viability of different roles and the impact of AI on various professional fields. These factors inform our recommendations and are always considered in relation to your individual personality.
How does the intensive consultation differ from traditional career coaching?
Career coaching usually begins with a specific question. The intensive consultation starts one step earlier: with a deep psychological understanding of your personality. Based on scientifically grounded potential diagnostics, psychological conversations and biographical context, we develop recommendations that often reveal possibilities you had not previously considered.
What happens after the consultation day?
The results are documented in a personalized dossier. One hour of follow-up coaching is also included in the service. It provides an opportunity to clarify outstanding questions, reflect on initial experiences and consider the next steps together. New thoughts or decision-making situations often arise in the first few weeks after the consultation, and the follow-up coaching offers targeted support with these.
